Dear Massachusetts Library System Members,

We recently hosted two member forums to foster dialog with you.  The first event was held in February at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Bourne with a focus on Resource Sharing.  We recorded the presentations and transcribed notes from the breakout sessions. They have been posted for your listening and reading pleasure.

In addition to general overviews about MLS, we reviewed how MLS is building a new resource sharing team to work with members to enhance ILL and eContent statewide.  At the meeting Resource Sharing Team Members–Stephen Spohn, Resource Sharing Director, Sue Kaler, ILL Manager, and Deb Hoadley, Team Leader for the eBook Pilot Project, met with members about their interests and questions.  Notes from our second forum at MITRE in Bedford will be posted soon.

Attendees at the Massachusetts Library Association (MLA) Annual Conference in Worcester are invited to join the dialog with MLS.  We’ll be hosting update sessions and discussions on May 7th at the DCU Center.
