MLS is pleased to welcome Cody Mansley as the new Electronic Resources Manager in the Resource Sharing Department. In this role, Cody will manage the Commonwealth eBooks Collections’ Sora program and provide support for statewide databases.
Cody comes to the MLS from OverDrive, where he spent several years assisting academic librarians manage their Kanopy programs. Before that, he was at Boston College working as a reference and collection development librarian. Cody holds an MSLIS degree from Simmons University and an MA from Brandeis University.
A passion for education has led Cody to focus his career on supporting students and librarians by furthering the mission of accessible and affordable resources for all. He also is a strong advocate for metadata and knowledge management systems, stemming from his extensive experience in cataloging and resource management.
Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending his free time wandering by the ocean, finding new places to eat, playing board games, reading, and avidly watching soccer.
