My typical workday is filled with overseeing Delivery, Bibliotemps, Purchasing Cooperative (MHEC) and all the Financial Business for MLS. I meet with the Executive Director on a regular basis as we plan out MLS’ financial outlook. Our Director team meets weekly to discuss our current and future plans for MLS.
I have a very competent staff that handles the day to day work and will come to me if they need help with a particular issue. As a certified PHR (Professional in Human Resources) I keep current on employment issues that are relevant. I keep staff aware of the changing landscape for employees as well as for employers. My days are quite busy and are never boring!
Outside the office Betsy enjoys…
I love to watch British mysteries on TV and talk on the phone or Text with my friends about their day. I love traveling and plan on going to Ireland in May.

I am currently reading “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens. It is a wonderful captivating read.
