March Delivery Survey

It’s that time again! Delivery Survey – March 15-19

MLS will be collecting delivery statistics from all member libraries who receive delivery. Information on how delivery is used help us determine how to allocate funding during our planning and budgeting process. Reporting delivery statistics is a requirement of membership in the Massachusetts Library System.  Survey information can be found on our Delivery LibGuide under ‘Delivery Surveys’

MHEC (Purchasing Cooperative)

Coming Soon! New engagement opportunities with our Purchasing Cooperative/MHEC (Massachusetts Higher Education Collaborative). More news to come!

In the meantime, don’t forget that all MLS members are eligible to use the MHEC Contracts for discounted purchases. MHEC conducts its procurement in a fair open and competitive manner consistent with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30B requirements. MHEC Contract Managers have completed MCPPO training and most are fully designated MCPPO’s (Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Officials).

MHEC members save an average of 35% through MHEC contracts and have access to competitive pricing on library books and supplies, technology hardware and software, furniture (protective barriers), cleaning services and supplies, office supplies, signage, multi-media, flooring, medical (PPE), security, promotional products and more.

Our Purchasing Cooperative LibGuide has additional information and resources to help you navigate the MHEC contracts.
